Pumpkin Glow at Oakland Nature Preserve

Pumpkin Glow is a flashlight hike: the preserve's trails get lined with carved and painted jack o lanterns, with trick or treat stations in the parking lot and some of the preserve's ambassador animals out to meet people.

It runs Friday Oct 23 and Saturday Oct 24 in timed entry slots starting at 6:30pm, and the night wraps at 9:30. Costumes are encouraged.

Tickets are $5 per person or $13 for a family of three or more, and members get in free. Register ahead on the preserve's site because slots do sell out.
