Orlando is quietly one of the best cities around for pickup sports. The weather cooperates most of the year, the parks are everywhere, and there's a game happening somewhere almost every night of the week.

Food & Drink

Forget the chain restaurants on I-Drive. The best food in Orlando lives in Mills 50, the Saturday farmers market in Winter Park, and the food truck nights that pop up all over town.

Third Spaces

Markets, pop-ups, outdoor movie nights, seasonal festivals. The stuff that makes a weekend feel like a weekend. Orlando's local calendar is packed if you know where to look.

Arts & Music

Orlando's creative scene is bigger than its reputation. There's live jazz in Mills 50, monthly art walks in Thornton Park, and pottery studios where you can get your hands dirty on a Friday night.

Outdoors

Central Florida has hundreds of lakes, springs a short drive away, and sunsets that are honestly unfair. Paddleboarding on Lake Virginia, sunrise runs around Lake Baldwin, picnics under the oaks.

Date Night

Dinner and a movie is fine. But the dates you actually remember are the ones where you tried something new together. Laughed at your terrible pottery. Stepped on each other's feet at salsa night.

Why this exists

Orlando has a lot going on, but most of it is scattered. A flyer on a cafe wall here, an Instagram story there, half of it buried in group chats. If you do not already know where to look, you miss most of it.

That kept happening to me. I would hear about a pickup game or a market the day after it happened. So I started keeping a list for myself, just so I would stop missing things.

Then friends started asking what was on this weekend, pretty much every week. So the list turned into an Instagram page, and then this site. That is pretty much it. One place to check before you decide to stay in.

Downtown Orlando

Downtown is built around Lake Eola, and honestly, so is a lot of Orlando social life. Swan boats, weekend markets, pickup soccer on the lawn, and a loop that is perfect for a slow evening walk.

Winter Park

Winter Park feels like a small town tucked inside Orlando. Brick streets, giant oaks, Park Avenue's shops, and one of the best farmers markets in Central Florida every Saturday morning.

Mills 50

Mills 50 is Orlando's most fun neighborhood to eat your way through. Vietnamese and Asian restaurants, colorful murals, record shops, and cafes with real personality.

Thornton Park

Thornton Park sits just east of Lake Eola, all brick streets and string lights. It is small, walkable, and has a surprisingly full calendar for its size.

Lake Nona

Lake Nona is newer, shinier, and very into wellness. The Town Center has outdoor art installations, a busy weekend scene, and the city might have more pickleball courts per capita than anywhere else in Florida.

Dr. Phillips

Dr. Phillips is best known for Restaurant Row on Sand Lake Road, but there's more going on than dinner. Community parks host movie nights and potlucks, and Bill Frederick Park is a great escape.

Kissimmee

Kissimmee gets lumped in with the tourist corridor, but downtown Kissimmee and the lakefront are a whole different vibe. Sand volleyball courts on Lake Tohopekaliga, food truck nights, and a classic small-town main street.

Baldwin Park

Baldwin Park is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Orlando, wrapped around Lake Baldwin and Lake Susannah. The trail loop makes it a favorite for run clubs and dog walkers.

College Park

College Park has a neighborly, front-porch feel. Edgewater Drive is lined with cafes and brunch spots, and the lakes around the neighborhood make for easy evening walks.
